Pre-removal Risk Assessments

Most persons who are being removed from Canada have a right to a Pre-Removal Risk Assessment. This is the last evaluation done in order to determine whether or not the person would be at risk if deported from Canada.

A failed refugee claimant will not be allowed an opportunity to make a Pre Removal Risk Assessment application unless it has been more than 12 months since their refugee claim was rejected, withdrawn or abandoned.
